Cinnamon has been used for centuries in traditional medicines in Asian cultures-Chinese and Indian. Among the various benefits which cinnamon offers, one of the most important is its role in maintaining healthy skin. Menthol is the organic compound found in the Mentha arvensis variety of Mint. Menthol Crystals are white crystal-costal-like flakes that break easily and whose aroma cuts right through your nasal passages. This property is what makes it so effective in helping with respiratory issues and clearing clogged nasal passages. Used in products, they cause a cooling sensation on the skin which helps relieve irritation and burning. They also relax muscles. In hair care, menthol crystals stimulate circulation which encourages hair growth, regulate oil production and balance the sebum.
