Armpit 101

Our wish for this new year is health abound, and that starts with care on the individual level. And perhaps even caring for parts of you that aren’t typically cared for, like our armpits. How often are they a part of your self-care routine? Most likely only in the shower or to put on deodorant. We’re here to help you change that.

Speaking of detox... your armpits need one

You probably don't think about your armpits too often unless they make themselves known. Our armpits, like the rest of our skin, need some help resetting every once in a while. Chemicals (if you're still using conventional deodorant), product, and skin can build up, causing a back-up of odor-causing bacteria to form.

But we have you (and literally your armpits) covered - all our deodorants come with a clay detox mask specifically for your pits.

Speed past the “stinky” phase

If you’ve ever gone from using a chemical deodorant to a natural one you’ve likely noticed some things happening as a result. There can often be a slight transitioning period where your armpits are a little stinky because they are purging from the chemicals they’re used to. Detoxing your armpits during this transitional phase can help expedite the “stinky” transitioning process, making the natural deodorant you use afterwards even more effective because your skin can soak it all in.

Don’t you, forget about me

Since armpits can have buildup pore blockages just like the rest of our skin, it’s good to make armpit masks a regular part of your routine. Ours is made using only locally sourced Mayan Red Clay and Volcanic Sulfur that help draw out the toxins and impurities in your skin and restore your skin’s natural pH balance. You can also use other clay masks on your armpit skin but be wary of the ingredients in the mask to make sure they are all-natural, as armpit skin can be very sensitive.
